As Banks Fail Where is the Reform?

Is nice to see all the concern about banks teetering on the edge. But despite all the theatrics recently in the House Financial Services Committee about corporate jets and girl scout cookies, where are the proposals for legislation to help prevent this from occurring again?

You know, everyone's complaining about Phil Gramm's role in getting rid of the Glass-Steagall Act but is there any talk of bringing Glass-Steagall back? Or how about the McFadden Act and the Douglas Amendment? Or is our role limited to just bailing out the Bank Trust every time it goes bust?
