Really sad news: Ken Swanborn passed away. I had the great fortune of meeting Ken at a number of grassroot events both social and political. I always appreciated his extremely positive and friendly personality. You can see Ken here in a leafleting action we did for the DNC a couple of years ago. Ken is in the middle.
Word of his passing came through a brief controversy, where the Chicago Tribune initially refused to print the final words of Ken's obit. They eventually backed down and printed it.
My condolences to his family.
