Ezra Klein has an extremely methodical take-down of what conservative columnist, Ben Domenech, bills as the "GOP's eight-point plan to replace Obamacare".
Ezra Klein is too polite to point this out but GOPers benefit from a huge advantage in this area, namely that universal access to heath care isn't a goal for them. This advantage allows them to suggest any policy thingamajiggy they want. Coming up with solutions where you don't really care about the end results -- beyond 'getting government off our backs' -- is quite a liberating experience.
